A few good questions.
Answers about booking, service scope, diagnostic fees, repair approval, parts, preparation, payment and warranty support.
Booking & coverage
Do you guarantee same-day service?
We don't guarantee it, but it happens a lot, especially in Newmarket, Aurora, Bradford and Barrie when you call before noon. It depends on where you are, who's free and whether a part is needed. We confirm the window by phone; an online request isn't a booking on its own.
When can I send a request or speak with someone?
Send an online request at any time. Calls, confirmations and technician visits take place Monday to Saturday, 9 AM–7 PM. A request outside those hours can be discussed during service hours.
How do you confirm my service area?
Tell us your city first. The coordinator confirms the address, appliance scope, route and available visit window before dispatch. A listed community does not guarantee availability at every address or on every day.
Which appliances can I request service for?
Start with a refrigerator or freezer, washer, electric dryer, dishwasher or electric oven or stove. Microwave, range hood, small-appliance, installation and maintenance requests need scope confirmation. Gas appliance repair is not offered.
Can I request installation or maintenance?
Yes, you can describe a selected installation, setup or preventive-maintenance request. The coordinator must confirm the appliance, work required and service scope before booking; submitting a request does not confirm that every installation is supported.
Costs & approval
What does the $99 CAD visit cover?
The technician coming out and properly diagnosing the appliance, anywhere in our listed area, no travel surcharge. The repair itself is quoted after the diagnosis and needs your okay. The visit fee applies even if you decide not to repair. Say yes to the repair as a new customer and the 30% offer comes off the whole bill, visit included.
How does the new-customer offer work?
30% off of the first repair. New customers only. Go ahead with the repair and the 30% comes off your whole bill: labor, parts and the $99 visit, before tax. You see the itemized quote and approve the total before any work starts.
Will any repair start before I approve it?
The technician explains the diagnosis, proposed work and available pricing first. Chargeable repair work needs your authorization. New or different work requires additional authorization; submitting the online form is not repair approval.
How can I pay?
Visa, Mastercard and Interac e-Transfer are accepted. No payment is collected in the service request form. Confirm the visit terms, repair amount and applicable taxes before approving the work.
The visit & follow-up
What information should I prepare?
Book Online asks for your name, appliance, city and phone number. Request a Callback needs only your phone number. If easy to find, note the model, error code, unusual sound and when the problem started. Do not move a heavy appliance or remove panels to find this information.
What happens if a part is required?
The technician explains the parts path, available quote and whether another visit is needed. A first visit does not guarantee completion. Material changes are discussed before additional chargeable work proceeds.
What does the 90-day labour warranty mean?
Covered workmanship is supported for 90 days from the documented completion date under the service terms. An unrelated failure is not automatically covered. Parts have their own stated terms; keep the service record and contact Fixentra if the same symptom returns.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Call as soon as you know that timing or access has changed. Any applicable cancellation, travel or no-show fee must have been disclosed and accepted before the appointment. See the service policy for the full terms.
For complete service, warranty and cancellation conditions, read the service policy. Your written service record contains the visit-specific terms.
Your next step
can be a simple one.
Share the appliance and city. We will call to confirm the details, visit terms and available window.
