Service, warranty, and cancellation
The standard visit and diagnostic fee is $99 CAD, unless a different amount is confirmed before dispatch.
Diagnosis is explained and additional labour and parts require authorization before work begins.
Covered workmanship is supported for the same diagnosed issue under the conditions below; parts have their own stated terms.
Online requests are accepted at any time. Calls, confirmations and technician visits normally occur monday to saturday, 9 am–7 pm. Before dispatch, Fixentra confirms the community, appliance category, available service window and visit fee. Gas-appliance service is outside the currently advertised scope.
The standard fee is $99 CAD, unless Fixentra confirms a different amount before dispatch. The fee covers the booked visit and diagnostic work described at confirmation. It is payable even if the customer decides not to approve a repair, unless the service record or applicable law states otherwise.
For new customers who approve a repair, the first-repair offer applies to the total invoice, visit fee included, as described on the pricing page and recorded in the service record. If no repair is approved, the visit fee stands on its own.
The technician inspects the appliance, identifies the likely cause and explains the proposed work. Before chargeable repair work begins, the customer receives the material terms available at that stage: work description, labour, known parts, price or maximum authorized amount, applicable taxes, timing assumptions and warranty terms.
New or different work requires additional authorization. If the appliance cannot be safely diagnosed or repaired, Fixentra may stop work and document the reason.
A first visit does not guarantee completion. A return visit may be required for a part, additional diagnosis, manufacturer information or safe access. Part availability, substitutions and delivery timing are controlled in part by manufacturers and suppliers. The customer will be told about material changes before additional chargeable work proceeds.
At handoff, Fixentra records the work performed, result, payment status, and applicable labour warranty terms. The customer should report any visible concern promptly and keep the service record or invoice as proof of the work and completion date.
Unless the service record states a longer period, Fixentra warrants covered labour for 90 days from the documented completion date. If the same symptom returns and is reasonably connected to the workmanship performed, contact Fixentra during the warranty period. We may inspect the appliance before deciding the appropriate remedy.
The labour warranty applies to the customer and appliance identified in the service record and is limited to correcting covered workmanship. It does not automatically extend because a separate component or unrelated symptom fails.
Parts may carry a manufacturer, distributor or visit-specific warranty. The part, warranty period and remedy must be stated in the service record or supplier documentation. The website does not promise a universal parts-warranty period. Shipping, supplier diagnosis and labour associated with a parts claim are handled according to the written terms and applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, the standard labour warranty does not cover a new or unrelated failure; misuse, abuse or operation contrary to manufacturer instructions; pests, fire, flood, freezing, power surge, plumbing, ventilation, building or utility conditions; pre-existing damage not included in the approved scope; customer-supplied parts; unauthorized alteration or work by another person after completion; unavailable or discontinued parts; or failure to provide reasonable access for inspection.
These exclusions do not remove rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under consumer-protection law.
Call 705-302-0105 as soon as possible if access or timing changes. A cancellation, late-cancellation, travel or no-show fee will apply only if its amount and triggering conditions were disclosed and accepted before the appointment. Fixentra does not rely on an undisclosed cancellation fee.
If Fixentra must reschedule because of capacity, safety, weather, vehicle issues or parts availability, we will offer the next reasonable window. A rescheduled visit does not guarantee same-day completion.
An online request is not itself a repair contract. When a written agreement is made in the customer’s home or otherwise falls into a regulated category, the customer receives any disclosure and cancellation rights required by Ontario law. Nothing in this policy reduces a statutory cooling-off, cancellation, estimate, authorization or refund right.
An adult authorized to approve work must be available. The customer must disclose known hazards, provide reasonable access and working utilities when safely possible, secure pets, protect sensitive belongings and avoid operating an appliance that appears unsafe. The technician may refuse or pause work where conditions create a health, electrical, gas, water, structural or personal-safety risk.
Call 705-302-0105 with the customer name, service reference or address, appliance and returning symptom. Fixentra will review the service record, determine whether an inspection is required and explain whether the issue appears covered before additional non-warranty work is authorized.
